Ammna Ahmed is an Associate Attorney with Garganese, Weiss, D’Agresta & Salzman, P.A. Ms. Ahmed’s civil litigation background consists of first-party property insurance, insurance defense, personal injury and transactional law including, but not limited to, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, software licensing agreements, leasing agreements, independent contractor agreements and statements of work.
Ms. Ahmed was originally born and raised in Miami, Florida, however, she also grew up in several different cities such as Dallas, Texas, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Manhattan, New York, Detroit, Michigan and Orlando, Florida. Ms. Ahmed received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida. While in law school, Ms. Ahmed was a research associate focused on Environmental law and Constitutional Law, on the board for various student organizations, and was a legal intern for the general counsel of a software development company.
Prior to joining Garganese, Weiss, D’Agresta & Salzman, P.A., Ms. Ahmed worked for a full service civil defense firm focusing on first party-property, insurance defense and personal injury. She is a member of the Florida Bar, Harvard Club of Central Florida, and the Young Lawyers Division.
In her spare time, she enjoys trying out new restaurants, traveling, playing golf, baking and cooking.
