Cherish A. Benedict

Associate

Cherish A. Benedict is an associate with Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A.  She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, and commercial landlord tenant litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in New York City at a law firm that is top ranked in the New York area by New York Magazine, where she focused her practice on complex commercial litigation and construction litigation.  Cherish has both Federal and State court experience, and is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  She is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Cherish recieved her B.A. magna cum laude in Legal Philosophy and Spanish from Lafayette College, where she was elected to PHi Beta Kappa, and graduated cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law.  During law school, Cherish was very active with the Moot Court Honor Society, holding three positions on the executive board and competing in both trial and appellate competitions.
