Kimberly Romano Kopp is a senior attorney with Garganese, Weiss, D’Agresta & Salzman, P.A. Ms. Kopp is certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in City, County and Local Government Law, and has practiced with and for local governments in various capacities since 2001. Ms. Kopp’s extensive background includes both private law firm experience as well as past experience as an Assistant County Attorney for Seminole County, Florida. Additionally, Ms. Kopp has an extensive background in land use and real estate law, is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional with knowledge of green building practices, and is a former board member of the Florida Planning and Zoning Association. Ms. Kopp is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.

Prior to commencement of her practice of law in Florida, Ms. Kopp was the recipient of a competitive internship award at the National Labor Relations Board for the 29th Region in Brooklyn, New York. She was subsequently selected to intern with the Administrative Law Judges Division of the National Labor Relations Board in New York City. Additionally, Ms. Kopp has interned for a federal magistrate judge for the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Kopp earned her law degree from Hofstra University in 2002, where she was the recipient of a full-tuition Distinguished Academic Scholarship. Further, she served as an editor of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal. She graduated from the University of Miami in 1999 with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in English.
